How 3 m lengths travel, and what delivery costs
Delivery is free nationwide during the promotion, on every order, with no minimum. The total in the cart is the total you pay, and it arrives in 3–7 days. This page explains how we wrap and send it, and what to do if something arrives damaged.
From the order to the lengths on site
In the order it actually happens, from the order to the lengths on site.
Cart and checkout
The total you see is the total you pay. Delivery is free nationwide during the promotion, on every order, with no minimum, and nothing for it is billed afterwards.
Pay for the goods
Paid through Stripe at the total on screen. The order is confirmed against the model codes and colour codes you picked.
We confirm the order
We check the list against the colour codes once more, then send the delivery date back to you. It usually arrives within 3–7 days.
Cut, wrapped, sent
Cut-to-size orders are cut to the measurements you sent. Every length is wrapped before it goes on the vehicle, then sent as arranged.
A full uncut 3 m length is ordered on the site like any of the cuts, and delivery on it is free in the same way. What differs is the far end: the destination has to take a 3 m length. Tell us when you order if a long vehicle cannot reach it, or if it has to go up through a building.
See exactly what to sendWhat a 3 m length needs at your end
The standard length is 3 m: light for its size, and long. What has to be planned for is the way into the site, not the weight.
The standard length of every stick, cut shorter to your measurements on request.
Every length is wrapped against knocks before it goes on the vehicle.
PS is far lighter than timber. What needs a second pair of hands is the length, not the weight.
Tell us three things before the delivery day
If the way up is tight, having the lengths cut to your measurements from the start is easier than cutting on site — and there is less offcut to pay for.
- The way in — can a vehicle reach the unloading point, and if not, how far is the carry from where it can park?
- The way up — stairs, a lift, or a corridor with a turn in it. A 3 m length does not go round every corner.
- Who receives it — who is on site that day, and the hours in which they can take a delivery.
Four checks before you sign
Under five minutes, and they are the five minutes that keep a replacement possible.
Count the lengths
Against what you ordered — the number of sticks and the length of each piece — before the vehicle leaves.
Read the colour code on every bundle
Colour is ordered by a three-digit code. Check the code is the same on every bundle rather than judging by eye that the tones are close.
Look down the whole length
Dents, chips and pressure marks along the stick, and particularly at both ends, which take the most pressure in transit.
Photograph before unwrapping
If something is damaged, photograph the wrapping and the damage before you open it, and send that in chat. It gets the replacement moving faster.
Three cases, answered plainly
Only the cases with a fixed answer are written down. The rest are settled one at a time in chat, which is more honest than a rule posted here that nobody would apply.
- Damaged in transitReplaced
Arrived dented, chipped or broken from the journey. Report it with photographs and we replace that length.
- WhenWithin 24 hours of delivery
- Cut to your measurementsNo returns
A length cut to your sizes cannot be resold, so it cannot be exchanged or returned. Check the section, the colour code, the lengths and the quantities before you order.
- WhenCheck before you order
- Full 3 m lengths, still wrappedAsk first
We have no fixed change-of-mind returns policy. Message us with the model code, the colour code and the quantity, and we will settle it case by case.
- WhenBefore you unwrap
Send these four and we quote back
The fuller the list, the more likely the first figure is the final one. Delivery is free during the promotion, so the quote is for the goods.
- Model code and three-digit colour code for every item
- Quantity — number of lengths, or the total run you need
- Destination, to district and province at least
- Whether it is cut to size, and if so the length of each piece
