Yes — bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and the damp side of a wall are all ordinary jobs for it, fitted exactly as it would be anywhere else. For a spot in direct sun and rain, tell us where it is going before you order so we can match the section and the fixing to it.

No — and painting over it is a poor trade. Wipe it with a damp cloth: there is no sanding and no re-varnishing every few years the way timber wants. If you need a colour outside these 11, ask us before you order rather than buying it and painting it yourself, because the wood-grain surface is applied at the factory and a coat you put on afterwards is a different thing altogether.

PS is far lighter than timber, termites will not eat it, it does not swell when wet, and it needs no painting because the wood-grain finish is applied at the factory. Against WPC it is tougher and less brittle. Where timber still wins: curved runs, and the feel of real wood.

A fine-tooth handsaw or a mitre saw; both leave a clean edge without chipping. Most room corners are not exactly 90°, so if two 45° cuts still show a gap, measure the real angle of that pair of walls and halve it. Cut 2–3 mm long and creep up on the fit — easier than cutting short and having to join. On an external corner, let the longer piece set the line and bring the short one to it. If you would rather not cut at all, send us the lengths you measured and we will cut before dispatch.

Construction adhesive or decorator's silicone, run as a bead along the length. Press it to the wall and hold it with masking tape or a prop until it sets. The wall must be dry and dusted off first; masonry, plasterboard and timber walls are all fine. On an uneven wall add more points of adhesive rather than forcing one spot. The single caution: polystyrene is sensitive to some solvents, so if you are using a brand you have not used on PS before, test it on an offcut and let it dry before you commit to the run.

Skirting, cornice, wall panels and battens are sold by the length: one length is 3 m, and you order lengths. A ซับวงกบ door sub-frame is sold as a set for one door leaf, because a leaf needs both jambs and the head — so one set is three 3 m lengths. Keep the two units apart when you price a site, or the sub-frames come out two thirds short.

Measure the total run in metres, subtract the door openings, divide by 3 and round up — that is your number of lengths. Then allow roughly one more length per room for mitre offcuts, and more in a room with many corners. Worked example: a 4 × 5 m room is 18 m round, less 1 m of doorway leaves 17 m; 17 ÷ 3 = 5.67, round up to 6, allow for the mitres and order 7. If you would rather not do the arithmetic, send the measurements or a photo of the plan and we will work it out.

Yes — send the length of each piece and how many in chat, and we cut to what you measured. You pay for less offcut and nobody carries 3 m lengths into a lift. The trade-off is the next question: a piece cut to your sizes cannot be exchanged or returned, so check the numbers before you confirm.

No — a piece cut to your measurements cannot be resold. Please check the size, colour code, lengths and quantities before ordering, and ask first if you are unsure.

Unwrap and look before you sign for it: photograph anything damaged in transit and tell us within 24 hours and we replace it. If a long vehicle cannot reach the address, or it has to go up a tall building, say so when you order — or have us cut the lengths shorter so they are easier to carry.

Order with the same three-digit colour code and the colour is referenced to the same set across the whole catalogue, so a phased job or a later extension stays in the same tone. And because every range shares that set, the skirting, the cornice and the slat panel in one room really can be ordered in one colour. Keep the code with your order, or photograph the box: repeat orders get much quicker.
